Memorials For Lodge Year 2002 (second saturday in December 2001 to the Second Saturday in December 2002)
As one day it will for each of us, the clock has tolled low twelve for some of our Brothers during the year 2002.These dear departed and fondly remembered Brothers have now met the Creator of the days of their youth when the evil days came not, and when their years drew late when they said: I have no pleasure in them;
The Sun, and the light, and the moon, and the stars have gone away, and the clouds will never return after the rain:
On that day the keepers of the house no longer trembled, and the strong men no longer bowed themselves, and the grinders were no longer needed, and those that looked out of the windows then saw the wonders of Heaven.
The doors are no longer shut in the streets and there is no more grinding, for they have risen up at the voice of the bird, and they hear the Heavenly music.
For now they have met that which is high, and there is no more fear in the way, and the almond trees have flourished, and the grasshopper is no longer a burden, and desire has been fulfilled: because they have gone to their long home, and the mourners have gone about the streets.
The silver cord is loosed, the golden bowl is broken, the pitcher is broken at the fountain, the wheel is broken at the cistern, the dust has returned to the earth as it was, and the spirit unto God who gave it.
Rest well, our Brothers and one day we will all be reunited in that Temple not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens.
