Officers Appreciation Dinner - 2003
| Immediately following the October 29th Trustee's meeting at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center the trustees and officers attending that meeting hurried to meet with the rest of St. John's Lodge No. 9's officer corps for the 2003 year at the 13 Coins Restaurant on the Denny Regrade for the 2003 Officer's Appreciation Dinner. | | |
 | | Conversation was lively before and after the meal. WM Terry Grove was extremely pleased with the turnout and thanked the line for their valuable help during the past year. Without everyone at the dinner working together the Lodge would not operate at the efficient level that it enjoys. |
| As is usual for the group when together, ways of making St. John's Lodge No. 9's meetings more interesting and shorter were discussed. The Senior Warden, Mike Rust, says that he will make a supreme effort to make the business meetings as short as possible so that the Brothers will have more time to visit and will get home at a decent hour following Lodge. | | |
 | | The 13 Coins menu carries just about everything anyone would want to eat and the variety of dishes ordered by those present encompassed every different section on the menu. There was little conversation after the meal was served as the food was so good that total concentration was required to eat everything. |
| Following the meal everyone sat around and talked for a while until they felt that they could get out of the chairs and make it home. The officers will be ready for Past Master's night and the election of new officers next Wednesday and are poised for the next year. St. John's Lodge No. 9 is in good hands! | | |
