| Bobbi, unfortunately, is still wearing a cast brace and doesn't now know when she will be completely healed. She still served the brethren like the trouper that she is. | | |
 | | Following dinner everyone retired to the Lodgeroom where Ms. Kate Hohlbein and Ms. Lauren Bernard, teachers at Sacajawea Elementary School, related the need of their school for the accelerated reading program. They were asked to come back with a "wish list" of things that they need to get this program started at their school and we will see them at the November meeting. |
Following the presentation by the teachers the WM opened Lodge and conducted the usual business with dispatch. Bro. Jim Wold reported that the teen feed needs all the Brothers that can attend to make the work easier for all. The annual Oyster dinner will be held once again at the Masonic Retirement Center on October 13th and VW Bro. David Julian will entertain on the piano and Bro. Ken Wehl will present his magic show for the residents.
The Halloween party for the youth was announced and WB Terry Grove asked for volunteers to help chaperone, set up, and take down after the party. He said that it is a very rewarding experience.
Following some announcements Lodge was closed at about 8:45 PM, Peace and Harmony prevailing as it always does at St. John's Lodge No. 9.
