St. John's Lodge No. 9's 2007 Little
League Team Schedule
Mason's St.
John's Lodge, our sponsored Little League Major's team, played excellent ball again this
year. Our defending Champions ended at 12-5-1. The team finished the regular season in first place in
their league.
Our Masons St. John's Lodge basbeball team avenged it's earlier loss to Lane Hardwood Floors, beating them in the first round of the playoffs! The game was shortened to 4 innings due to the 'Mercy Rule'. If a team is ahead by 10 or more runs after 4 innings the game is called.
Masons won 15-1!
The Masons star pitcher Alex Stamey threw a three hitter, striking out seven Lane Hardwood Floor batters!
The team came up short against the National Dry Cleaners team on Wednesday, May 30th and won against the Lane Hardwood Floors team again on Saturday. Wednesday at 6PM the team avenged its earlier loss to the National Dry Cleaners team by a score of 14 - 2 in four innings.
Our team played in the championship game on Monday, June 11th at 5:30 PM sharp at Soundview Field because the Saturday date was rained out! Dante's Inferno Dogs was the opponent and they won the game. This has been a good season for our team and we look forward to next years competitions.

Ken Lane Jr., our Treasurer and the coach of the team, invites all
Brothers to come out and support our team next year. Tickets are free and the boys really play harder when we attend the games. Our attendance makes them feel that the team "owners" really take an interest in how well they do. Both of our Little League teams are proud to be sponsored by St. John's Lodge and we are proud to help our youth. Supporting these players is important.
This yeare the St. John's members attended the May 15th game and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of baseball. The kids played their hearts out in a very competitive game and ultimately came up one run short. The game was in doubt right up to the last pitch.
The Master of St. John's Lodge took the team to Dick's for dinner following the game and everyone went home with a huge smile on their face.
Ticket price cannot be an object as entrance
to the ball park really is free.
